SLIP-ON LIFT FRAMES

Have been designed and manufactured to provide a safe operation to lift a Slip-On style fire control unit off a vehicle tray and accordingly, when required, provide safe lowering of the fire unit back onto the vehicle tray. The Slip-On Lift Frame 2-way winch with stainless cable lifting trapeze helps prevent manual handling accidents to fingers, hands and most importantly reduce the likelihood of back injuries.
Using the hand operated winch raises the fire unit clear of the vehicle tray allowing the unloaded vehicle to be driven away from the lift frame additionally a lift frame can be fitted with a fibreglass manufactured overhead storage tank with suitable capacity to contain the slip-on tank water supply.

SLIP-ON TYPE FIRE CONTROL UNITS MUST ONLY BE LIFTED EMPTY. They are not in any way designed and manufactured to be lifted whilst the tank is full, because the lift point of balance is related to the volume of water within the tank.
